A full-time opportunity has become available for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Newham. This long-term role is available for a September start and offers a competitive daily rate of £90 to £110, depending on experience.

The Role - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Year 1)
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a Year 1 pupil with additional needs, helping them to access learning and remain engaged throughout the school day. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies and adapt learning activities to meet the pupil's individual needs.
The role will involve providing consistent 1:1 support, assisting with phonics and early learning, managing behaviour, and helping the pupil to develop social and emotional skills.
Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships are essential for this role.
