Location: Kent (Onsite)
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
Security: Due to the nature of the projects, this role is restricted to sole British nationals and will require eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
Copello are working with an established organisation within the defence and advanced technology sector who are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of complex, multi-disciplinary systems across high-profile programmes.
The Role:
You will be responsible for translating customer requirements into structured system requirements, developing system architectures using an (MBSE) approach, and supporting the integration, analysis and testing of real-time systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Capture, develop and manage system requirements
* Develop system architectures using MBSE methodologies
* Support integration, analysis and testing of multi-disciplinary systems
* Own and deliver technical work packages
* Engage with customers and suppliers on technical matters
* Support verification and validation activities
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience in systems engineering, including requirements management and modelling
* Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB or Simulink
* Knowledge of MBSE and SysML
* Strong stakeholder engagement experience
* Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering/science discipline
