2nd Fix Carpenter

Location: Peterborough, PE2

Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join the team. This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £14-£16 depending on experience.

Duties will include:

Reading and working from floor plans
Stud walling
Fitting insulation
Plaster boarding
Gyplyner ceilings
Door hanging
Fitting architraves and skirting
Laminate flooring
Vinyl flooring
Carpet fitting
Kitchen fitting
Window fitting
Sheet roofing
Fitting roof lights (Velux)
Bathroom sheet boarding
Fitting baths and shower screens
Fitting exterior decking

Requirements:

Proven experience in 2nd fix carpentry
Ability to confidently carry out the tasks listed above
Ability to read and work from floor plans
Own basic hand tools
Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday to Friday
Good attention to detail and quality of finish
