How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager – Electrically Biased - Deeside / North West – Static Role – £57-60k + 10% Pension + Quarterly Bonus + Overtime + BUPA + 28 Days Leave + Bank Holidays + Annual Pay Review
    Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major manufacturing site in the Deeside area. This Electrical Project Manager role sits within a large, well-known industrial environment that is currently undergoing significant investment and transformation, offering the successful Electrical Project Manager genuine scope to make an impact from day one.
    This Electrical Project Manager position will suit someone with a strong electrical engineering background who is comfortable leading electrically biased CAPEX projects from concept through to commissioning within a complex, live manufacturing environment.
    Key aspects of the Electrical Project Manager role include:
    * Delivering electrically biased CAPEX and revenue projects from concept, design and specification through to installation, commissioning and final handover
    * Leading the electrical aspects of a major multi-million-pound plant upgrade project, coordinating contractors, suppliers, operations and maintenance teams
    * Producing electrical specifications, scopes of work, project plans, budgets, risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) documentation and project reports
    * Managing external electrical contractors and specialist suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
    * Working closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to minimise production disruption during project delivery
    * Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles including LV distribution, motors, drives, MCCs, control panels, instrumentation and industrial control systems
    * Experience of contractor management, CDM regulations, permit-to-work systems and safe project delivery within heavy industrial or process manufacturing environments
    * Strong budget management experience including CAPEX justification, cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting
    * Candidates are likely to come from heavy industrial, manufacturing, process, utilities, chemicals, steel, food, FMCG or systems integration backgrounds
    * Degree qualified is preferred, although high calibre HND/HNC qualified candidates with relevant project delivery experience will also be considered
    * The company actively supports professional development including Chartership and professional institution membership
    * The site continues to invest heavily in new equipment and infrastructure, creating genuine long-term progression opportunities for an ambitious Electrical Project Manager
    * This is a fully site-based, static role with no travel required
    In return, the Electrical Project Manager role offers:
    * Salary of £57-60k plus pre-paid overtime
    * Quarterly bonus scheme based on plant performance
    * 10% pension contribution
    * Private medical insurance (BUPA)
    * 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, with the flexibility to borrow or carry forward up to 18 days between holiday years

    The role is fully site-based near Deeside with flexible start and finish times around core hours.
