How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Business-to-Business (B2B) Account Manager
    Northampton – Hybrid
    £30,000 – £45,000 per annum + Bonus + Commission

    About the Role

    We are recruiting for a driven and commercially focused B2B Account Manager to join a well-established and growing technology services organisation based in Northampton. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and proven experience managing client accounts within a fast-paced business environment.

    The company provides a range of business solutions including managed services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, IT support, and infrastructure services, supporting clients across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to maximise account retention and profitability.     Key Responsibilities

    Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B customer accounts
    Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales activity
    Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact
    Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable business solutions
    Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements
    Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximise profitability
    Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity reports
