How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    CNC Router Operator

    Late Shift. 2pm - 10pm

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced  CNC Router Setter / Operator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This role involves setting and operating a  CNC machining centre with Fanuc control, producing high-quality machined components within a fast-paced production environment.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist, CNC router operator or multi-axis CNC setter looking to work with advanced machinery and contribute to continuous improvement within production.

    Key Responsibilities

    Set and operate a CNC Router 

    Work with Fanuc CNC controls, vacuum bed systems and dust extraction

    Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation

    Monitor and maintain cutting tools and consumable tooling

    Perform basic operator maintenance and machine checks

    Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and procedures

    Skills & Experience Required

    Minimum 4 years’ experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment

    Proven experience setting and operating  CNC machines or CNC routers

    Experience working with Fanuc control systems

    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
