Rolling Mill Setter Operator

Industrial Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for Rolling Mill Setter for their Manufacturing Client in the Aston area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing role within a fast-paced and well-established manufacturing environment.
Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 07:00 – 16:00
* Day shift
Pay Rate:
* £33,150 - £35,360 per year DOE
* Weekly pay / monthly pay available depending on company payroll
Job Duties:
* Setting and operating old-school manual rolling mill machinery
* Adjusting rollers, guides and settings to meet production requirements
* Monitoring product quality and making manual adjustments where required
* Carrying out tool changes and machine set ups
* Working to production targets and quality standards
* General housekeeping of work area
* Reporting faults or maintenance issues promptly
Requirements:
* Previous rolling mill setting experience is essential
* Experience with manual machinery and mechanical adjustments
* Strong understanding of production tolerances and quality control
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative
* Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
