We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor / Lead Engineer to join a well-established building services provider covering a portfolio across Westminster, including libraries, offices, and GP surgeries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer ready to step into a leadership role, or an experienced supervisor looking for a stable position with strong earning potential and career progression.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Supervisor / Lead Engineer, you will oversee day-to-day engineering operations across multiple sites, ensuring all mechanical systems are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supervising and supporting a team of engineers

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works

* Fault finding and repairs on mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, plant, etc.)

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations

* Liaising with clients and managing subcontractors

* Assisting with scheduling and allocation of works

Package & Benefits:

* £52,000+ basic salary

* Call-out rota: 1 in 6 (£140 per week)

Requirements:

* Strong mechanical background (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

* Experience in a supervisory or lead role (or ready to step up)

* Knowledge of building services within commercial/public sector environments

* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Full UK driving licence
