Barker Ross are recruiting on behalf of a well-established drainage specialist based in Horncastle for a permanent Marketing & Lead Generation Specialist to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, driven, and eager to play a key role in business growth through targeted marketing and lead generation activity.
The Role
Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of lead generation activity, CRM processes, and short-term campaign delivery. You'll be instrumental in building a strong pipeline of prospects while supporting wider marketing initiatives and brand development.
This role is heavily focused on generating new business opportunities and improving conversion rates through data-led decisions, market insight, and continuous optimisation of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Insights
Carry out research into industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Review data and reports to identify opportunities and recommend actions
Share insights with the wider team to support strategic decision-makingLead Generation & Pipeline Development
Plan and deliver targeted campaigns to attract and qualify new leads
Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
Support the conversion of enquiries and quotations into confirmed salesMarketing Support
Assist the Marketing Manager with day-to-day activities
Contribute to longer-term marketing and brand awareness initiativesCRM & Data Management
Manage and optimise CRM systems, automations, and lead workflows
Track performance, analyse results, and suggest improvements
About You
Previous experience in a marketing or lead generation role (ideally within B2B)
Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign delivery
Confident using CRM systems and Excel for data analysis
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Degree in Marketing, Business or similar (or equivalent experience)
Full UK driving licence
