The Role
As a Private Client Tax Assistant, you will support the delivery of personal tax services to a varied client portfolio. This includes high net worth individuals, company directors, landlords and trusts.
You will work closely with experienced tax professionals, gaining broad exposure while developing your technical knowledge and client facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of personal tax returns
Assisting with tax computations and self assessment filings
Supporting senior team members with advisory work and planning projects
Liaising with HMRC and responding to client queries
Maintaining accurate client records and meeting deadlines
Building strong internal and external relationships
RequirementsPrivate Client Tax Assistant
Previous experience in private client or personal tax within accountancy practice
Studying towards ATT, CTA or ACA or keen to begin professional tax qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator with a professional approach
Interest in developing a long term career in private client tax
