Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Field/Site based - Learners are based across Cheshire to Yorkshire
Salary: £38,900 - £41,900 (inclusive of car allowance) - Salary depending on experience and qualifications
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria (for all candidates):
Must hold solid, occupational competency within Engineering Maintenance.
Ideally hold an Assessor qualification.
Must hold own Engineering qualification, ideally at Level 4 or above.
An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.Duties:
Assess/mentor learners working towards Apprenticeships in Engineering Maintenance (Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician; Engineering Manufacturing Technician; Engineering Maintenance Technician - dual and single disciplines),
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.Personal Skills:
Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
