An established engineering organisation is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist / Setter Operator to join a small, supportive manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacture a range of engineered components using plastic and rubber materials to specified quality standards and production deadlines
Set, operate, and adjust CNC lathe machinery
Create, load, edit, and optimise CNC programs
Carry out self‑inspection and final inspection of machined components
Ensure all parts meet drawing specifications and required tolerances
Plan and schedule work efficiently to meet production demands
Monitor and manage stock levels, supporting inventory control activities
Assist with general workshop duties as requiredRequirements
Experienced CNC machinist with knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions
Confident using precision measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Computer literate with the ability to work confidently in a digital manufacturing environment
