The position involves working away most weeks for half of the year, staying in hotels Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, returning to the warehouse on a Thursday afternoon. This position is a 4 day working week due to working 9.5 hour days.
This position would be doing the fitting side of it for half the year and the other half would be in the warehouse.
MUST HAVE A UK DRIVING LICENSE!
Duties:
* To represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
* Liaise via email and phone with the Sales Operations and Installations Manager in a courteous manner to effectively organize the daily schedule and ensure that deadlines are met.
* Collate all paperwork in advance of the day’s schedule and check that all goods and hardware required for the day are present.
* Collect and return all goods to the warehouse and return them to the specified bay where necessary.
* Ensure goods are transported to and from site locations securely and in pristine condition.
* Ensure products are used correctly to maximize efficiency.
* Accurately interpret measuring and manufacturing illustrations for the purpose of measuring or installing products.
* Complete all installations in accordance with the company's installation and fitting procedures.
* Carry out surveys at customer locations.
* Ensure the timely completion of all documentation in accordance with the company's Environmental & Quality Management System.
* Ensure all paperwork is saved electronically and filed correctly.
* Clearly mark any returned items with all necessary details in order that the warehouse staff can identify stock.
* Ensure that the Company Van and contents are kept in an organized and tidy fashion.
* Ensure used returned curtains are palletized and unloaded tidily and baled at the earliest opportunity.
* Adhere to the company’s health and safety policy, method statements, risk assessments and work instructions at all times.
Fitter Job Details:
Hours: 7am to 5pm (9.5hrs) (38 hour week) - Hourly rate: £14.42 - Annual pay: £28,493.92
* Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid, one paid 10 minute break, one 10 minute discretionary break (job dependent).
* Overnight personal allowance: £25 per overnight stay
* Overtime: Monday to Saturday paid at 1.5x and Sunday paid at 2x.
* Accommodation: Premier Inn
* Food & Drink allowance: breakfast & evening meal included with Premier Inn meal deal.
Occasionally Overtime – weekday and Saturday paid @ 1.5x, Sundays paid at 2x.
Warehouse Job Role:

* Desirable to have counterbalance Forklift licence – (willing to send on training course if the right person)
* Shift times - whilst training 7:00am – 3:00pm, when trained 9:00am – 5:00pm
* Data entry and Order progression on company ERP system.
* Goods In – Receiving, physical and data entry on ERP system.
* Goods In Inspections.
* Goods out – Dispatching finished goods.
* Booking Couriers using online portals.
Occasionally Overtime – weekday and Saturday paid @ 1.5x, Sundays paid at 2x.
