The Role:
* Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
* Complete compliance checks on taxis and private hire vehicles
* Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet council and road safety standards
* Advise customers on vehicle condition, failures, and required repairs
* Keep accurate records using IT systems
* Support enforcement activities when required
* Assist with opening/closing the testing centre
* Handle payments and general admin tasks
* Support the team and cover for the manager when needed
* Attend court if required to give evidence
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified and experienced MOT Tester
* Good knowledge of DVSA standards
* Experience working with taxis or commercial vehicles (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and record keeping
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week - specific hours to be confirmed at interview stage
* £18.68 – £20.16 per hour (depending on experience)
* Weekly pay via agency!
