We are currently recruiting for an experienced Slinger Banksman to join a busy construction site on a new-build residential development of flats in Exeter. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work for the right candidate.
Job Details:
Project: Residential flat development
Duration: 12 months
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: Full days
Saturday: Half day
Start: End of May 2026
Rate of Pay:
£19 – £21 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
Safely directing crane operations and lifting activities
Attaching and securing loads in line with lifting plans
Communicating clearly with crane operators and site teams
Recording the arrival of site deliveries accurately
Assisting with the banking and safe movement of plant and site deliveries
Ensuring all lifts and deliveries are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations
Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Requirements:
Valid Slinger/Signaller (Banksman) ticket (essential)
Previous experience working on construction sites
Experience recording deliveries and banking plant movements
Strong awareness of site safety procedures
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Reliable and punctual
