About Fit Out UK We are an established, industry-leading specialist in premium interior fit-outs, refurbishments, and high-quality joinery. We deliver exceptional projects for blue-chip clients across retail, hospitality, commercial, and banking sectors nationwide.
We are now seeking an experienced CNC Operator with Homag machine experience to join our skilled production team in our state-of-the-art workshop in Park Royal.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you will operate advanced Homag CNC machinery to manufacture precise, high-quality components for prestigious retail and commercial interiors. You’ll work in a fast-paced, modern workshop environment, delivering accuracy and excellence on every project.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, program, operate, and monitor Homag CNC routers and mills to produce bespoke components to exact specifications.
* Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and work orders.
* Perform tool changes, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and program adjustments on Homag machines.
* Conduct thorough quality checks throughout production to uphold the highest standards and minimise waste.
* Collaborate with the production and design teams to optimise processes and meet tight deadlines.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in full compliance with health & safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a CNC Operator / Machinist in a joinery or manufacturing environment (minimum 2 years preferred).
* Solid hands-on experience with Homag CNC machines (Preferred)
* Strong proficiency in CNC setup, operation, basic programming, and editing.
* Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and tolerances.
* Meticulous attention to detail with a genuine pride in producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop.
* Proactive attitude, good communication skills, and reliability.
* Full right to work in the UK (essential).
