Expectations of a teaching assistant |
* Assisting classroom activities with students
* Making sure students focus on the assignments given by a permanent member of staff/department at the school
* Facilitating the completion of low level tasks by clearly conveying instructions to the students
* Ensuring that all necessary materials for the lesson are prepared and accessible as a teaching assistant
* Maintaining student conduct during lessons to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
* Gathering finished teaching assistant assignments at the end of the session and submitting them to the relevant person at the school

* Great time-keeping, can arrive to school on time, self-assured, well-organised, and tactful
* Willing to undertake online teaching assistant training
