Long Term Futures is seeking to recruit a caring and committed Teaching Assistant who is looking to develop their career within a SEND school environment.

About the Role
Working closely with class teachers, the SENCo, and a range of professionals, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Supporting pupils in both classroom and alternative learning settings
* Assisting with the delivery of engaging, structured lessons
* Setting clear and tailored expectations for individual pupils
* Applying positive reinforcement techniques to support learning and behaviour
* Observing and reporting on progress and/or behaviour to teachers and parents
* Supporting pupils outside the classroom to help them regulate before returning to lessons
* Promoting resilience, self-regulation, and positive social interaction
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND and a genuine passion for the role
* Calm, confident, and able to manage challenging situations effectively
* Able to build positive relationships while maintaining consistent boundaries
* Reliable and committed to a long-term placement - consistency is essential
* Resilient and adaptable within a SEND setting
