I’m working with a well-established manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire who are looking to bring in a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen their team. This would suit either someone already operating at Senior level or an engineer with around five years’ experience who feels ready to step up.

The Role

You’ll be heavily involved in improving and developing manufacturing processes across the business. It’s a hands-on role but also one where you’ll need to think bigger picture. They need someone with a strong process mindset, methodical, structured and able to understand how machinery and processes link together across the whole system.

You’ll be:
Improving and developing manufacturing processes
Supporting production and new product introduction
Looking at process flow, efficiencies and continuous improvement
Supporting PFMEA, PPAP and general process documentation
Troubleshooting issues and driving corrective actions
Supporting and guiding less experienced engineers where neededWhat they need
Around 5+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
A strong understanding of machinery and how manufacturing systems interact
Someone process driven with a methodical approach
Experience within motor manufacturing, electro mechanical assembly or similar would be a big advantage
Whole systems knowledge would be beneficial
Ideally apprentice trained or qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level
