We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable freight forwarding business for an experienced Air Freight Specialist to join their Bradford-based operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled air freight professional to take ownership of shipments end-to-end within a supportive and well-structured environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing air freight import and/or export shipments from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high levels of customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling air freight shipments (import/export) end-to-end
Providing quotations to clients
Arranging collections and deliveries with agents and carriers
Preparing and processing all relevant shipping documentation
Managing import/export customs clearance procedures
Costing shipments and raising invoices
Maintaining accurate operational records
Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarder
Strong knowledge of air freight import and/or export operations
Experience with customs procedures
Familiarity with CargoWise is highly desirable
Excellent organisational and communication skills
