Pipefitter Welder

Ambitek are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Pipefitter / Welder to join our client's growing workshop team based in Chester on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with consistent work, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will be working alongside experienced fabricators and welders and should have strong welding, fabrication, and pipefitting experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Pipefitting, fabrication, and welding duties within the workshop

* TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel

* MIG flux core welding desirable, but not essential

* Stick welding advantageous

* Fabricating components when required

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Working to high quality and safety standards

* Supporting site-based work when required by the business

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience as a Pipefitter / Welder

* Strong TIG welding skills on stainless and carbon steel

* Fabrication experience

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

* Flexible attitude and willingness to work on other sites if needed

* Good work ethic and team player mentality

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday

* 8:00am – 4:00pm
