We are seeking an experienced BMS Small Works Project Manager to join a growing team delivering fast-paced building controls projects across commercial environments. This role will focus on managing projects typically ranging from £80k to £200k, ensuring efficient delivery, high quality, and strong client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of multiple BMS small works projects from award through to completion
*
Oversee project planning, programming, and resource allocation across several concurrent projects
*
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Ensure successful integration of BMS systems with mechanical and electrical plant
*
Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong working relationships
*
Monitor project performance, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
*
Manage commercial aspects including variations, cost control, and reporting
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
Requirements
*
Proven experience managing BMS or controls small works projects
*
Strong technical understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS)
*
Good knowledge of mechanical & electrical plant systems
*
Experience delivering projects in the £80k–£200k range
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
*
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
*
Experience with leading BMS platforms (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider)
*
Background in building services, controls, or a related engineering discipline
*
Relevant technical or engineering qualification
