How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quantity Surveyor

    London

    Up to £60,000

    A small but forward-thinking construction consultancy based in South West London, are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their small but close-knit team.

    Working in High End Residential sector, they are well established and benefit from regular repeat business.

    The role of the Quantity Surveyor

    The Quantity Surveyor will deliver on High End Residential projects in London and the Home Counties. These could be new builds and refurbishment and will range in value.

    The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the whole project lifecycle from concept to completion. You will be involved in pre and post contract duties including Tenders, Cost planning, feasibility studies and procurement advice. You will act as the client’s single point of contact.

    The Quantity Surveyor will be leading the High-End Residential Projects and will have partner level support.

    You will be working on some of the most exclusive Residential projects in London, which comes with some very demanding clients.

    The requirements of the Quantity Surveyor

    * RICS accredited degree

    * Preferably MRICS (or aspiring to)

    * Experience on High End Residential Projects

    * Experience within a private practice / consultancy

    * Strong Pre and post contract knowledge

    In return
