Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Weston-super-Mare, with immediate starts available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils who need extra support to thrive both academically and emotionally. 

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

Work 1:1 or in small groups to help students access learning

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

Provide emotional and behavioural support where needed

Help create a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, etc.)

A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
