A leading national glass company is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their distribution team. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of bulk glass products on stillages to customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Transport bulk glass securely using stillages
* Carry out deliveries to customer sites in a timely and professional manner
* Ensure all loads are safely secured and handled with care
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Comply with all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies
* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
* Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good understanding of load security, particularly for glass or similar materials
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
