Salary - £49,729.28 + Overtime (OTE £60k+)
Shift - 3 Shift Pattern (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6)
Job Role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading, highly automated manufacturing site. This site is home to one of the largest corrugators in Europe, producing up to 26,000 cases per hour in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. With continuous investment and a strong engineering culture, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to develop their career and progress within a growing business.
Working in the high-speed corrugated area, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting installations. You will play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency across a range of heavy-duty production machinery.
You will work as part of a 2-person shift team alongside an electrical engineer, requiring strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to diagnose and resolve faults quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
Experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory
Engineering Qualificaiton
Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Experience in FMCG, packaging, print, automotive, or similar industries
Exposure to PLCs (Allen Bradley beneficial)
Forces background (REME, RAF, Navy) highly considered
Experience with continuous improvement or project work
