How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    I am seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. You will provide effective support through planned maintenance, breakdown response ensuring operational reliability and safety.

    Description

    Ensure company disciplines, rules, and standards are consistently maintained.
    Maintain company assets to achieve maximum operational efficiency and reliability.
    Communicate effectively with Production teams and engineering colleagues.
    Maintain awareness and control of spare parts required for site plant and equipment.
    Operate in accordance with company procedures and documented standards.
    Carry out planned maintenance tasks in line with engineering and safety standards.
    Respond to and repair equipment breakdowns in a safe and timely manner.
    Complete remedial engineering works to plant, equipment, or site infrastructure as directed by the Engineering Manager.
    Proactively identify and report any safety risks or potential equipment failuresShift: 4 on 3 off / 3 on 4 off (Rotating)

    Profile

    You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer, with the following:

    A recognised qualification in engineering (E.g. NVQ)
    Knowledge of pneumatics & hydraulics
    Experience with Steam systems is a massive advantage
    Self-motivated, flexible approach
    Experience working with CMMs would be advantageousJob Offer
