How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Business Development Manager (Beer / Wine Sales - On-Trade) 

    South West (Field-Based / Hybrid) 

    £30,000 - £35,000 (OTE £60,000+) + Uncapped Commission + Autonomy + Growth 

    Are you a Business Development Manager or Field Sales Executive from a beer, wine, or drinks background, looking to take full ownership of a territory and build your own customer base?  

    On offer is the opportunity to join a growing independent brewery, where you will drive new business across pubs and on-trade accounts, developing relationships and building a consistent order pipeline. 

    This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on opening new accounts, reactivating dormant customers, and growing weekly sales volume. You will be given the autonomy to manage your own territory, combining time on the road with structured telesales activity.  

    This role would suit a drinks sales professional who understands the pub trade, enjoys face-to-face selling, and is motivated by building long-term relationships and increasing earnings through performance. 

    The Role

    Win new business across pubs, bars, and on-trade accounts
    Sell a range of cask and keg products into the local market
    Build strong relationships with landlords and decision-makers
    Reactivate dormant accounts and grow repeat business
    Manage your own pipeline, diary, and weekly targets
    Negotiate pricing and close deals The Person

    Background in beer, wine, or drinks sales (on-trade preferred)
    Experience in field sales or business development
    Strong understanding of the pub / hospitality sector
    Confident communicator with relationship-building ability
    Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially driven
