How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Exciting opportunity for both ECT's and experienced Primary Teachers!

    Are you a Primary Teacher looking for flexible work with competitive pay starting at £130 a day?

    We are very excited to offer you the chance to join our trusted team of Teachers on a temporary supply basis in primary schools across Portsmouth and surronding areas, with opportunities for both day-to-day ad hoc supply and longer term assignments within local schools in both KS1 and KS2.

    Feedback to the regular class teacher
    Assisting with lunch or break cover if required
    Making sure safeguarding is at the forefront of your mind, and ensuring any concerns about a child or the behaviour of another adult is reported.
    Ensuring a high standard of behaviour management.
    To support any Teaching Assistants to carry out their duties effectively.
    To assist the SLT in ensuring the provision of a warm, accepting environment in which the emotional, social, educational, cultural and spiritual needs of individuals can be met.
    To maintain records accurately and methodically as instructed by the Headteacher or laid down in the schools policies and procedures.
    To actively contribute towards the maintenance of a positive culture within the school, in which teamwork thrives.What You'll Need:
