Site Supervisor

Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor to take ownership of a high-end corporate office building in Canary Wharf.

This is a single-person site role, offering autonomy and responsibility for the day-to-day running of building services within a prestigious commercial environment.

The Role:

• Acting as the sole on-site engineer responsible for all building services.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
• Managing subcontractors, permits to work and site compliance.
• Overseeing building systems including HVAC, electrical and mechanical plant.
• Supporting planned maintenance and project works, including out-of-hours activities.
• Participating in building shutdowns when required.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards.

Package:

• £55,000 basic salary
• Monday to Friday working pattern (8am–5pm)
• Call-out rota 1 in 1 (£75 standby – approx. £4,000 per year, low call-outs)

Requirements:

• Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience working within commercial building services environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage a site autonomously.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site compliance processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
