Assembly Technician

£33,155 - £39,936 per annum - with sign on bonus of £1000 on top

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Stockport for an Assembly technician. This is a permanent job, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and paying £33,155 - £39,936 per annum, dependant on experience. There is also a significant starting bonus on offer.

Duties will include;

* Ensure assembly and build quality is of optimum standard.

* Ensure machinery is of optimum quality and working standard prior to delivery.

* Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.

* Working to deadlines and delivery dates.

* Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.

* On-site commissioning and customer training.

You will need to be;

* Experienced in being responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.

* Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

* Able to carry out repairs, and servicing of all equipment.

* Proficient in general engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.

* Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
