How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Package Description: Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person centred outcomes for people with complex support needs who rely on our services.You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs

    Where you'll be working;

    Central Worthing, Rectory Road supports 3 individuals with multiple disabilities.

    Offering supporting living, encouraging and enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and accessing the local community & facilities. 

    We are looking for Support Workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

    What is required from you?

    A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.

    At least 12 months of experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.  

    UK Valid Driver's License with access to own car.

    Encouraging – people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

    Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

    Communicating - effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods

    Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

    Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

    Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

    Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
