We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high safety standards.
HGV Class 2 Driver Key Responsibilities:
* Drive company vehicles responsibly and safely at all times, adhering to all traffic laws and the Highway Code.
* Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly to the Transport Manager.
* Carry out customer deliveries and collections in a professional and efficient manner.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections using the correct documentation.
* Ensure all equipment and goods on the vehicle are secured and protected where required.
* Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the working day.
* Build and maintain strong product knowledge to ensure accurate and effective deliveries.
* Represent the company professionally at all times, promoting the values of the business to customers, potential customers, and the general public.
HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:
* Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
* Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is essential.
* Full and valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.
