How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Maintenance Team Leader

    Hours: 3 Shift Pattern (Mornings 6am - 2pm / Lates 2pm - 10pm / Nights 10am - 6pm).
    Salary: £59,872 (inc Shift Allowance)
    Location: Coleshill

    We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Team Leader to support and lead a skilled maintenance team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

    This is a key leadership role where you'll help drive performance, ensure standards are maintained, and act as the vital link between maintenance and wider operations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    * Control overtime to support production requirements
    * Manage shift planning and maintain holiday schedules
    * Deliver clear and effective shift reports to the wider business
    * Complete structured shift handovers in line with standard procedures
    * Ensure tool trollies are maintained, standardised, and regularly audited
    * Maintain housekeeping standards across all maintenance areas and equipment
    * Control spare parts ordering within the maintenance budget
    * Act as the primary link between Maintenance and other departments
    * Support initial Maintenance involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI)
    * Provide daily reporting to the Maintenance BUL following standard processes

    What we're looking for:
    * Strong team player with the ability to lead by example
    * Excellent communication skills across all levels
    * Experience in a Maintenance environment (automotive background preferred)
    * ABB experience desirable
    * Ability to promote a strong feedback and continuous improvement culture
    * Organised, proactive, and confident managing shift operations
