Role Overview:
We are recruiting experienced Pipefitters to support mechanical installation and maintenance activities on a long-term project. This role involves working to detailed drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality, safe installation of piping systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and fit pipework systems to specification
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and technical documents
- Carry out pipe cutting, threading, bending, and fitting
- Align pipework and prepare for welding activities
- Work closely with welders and supervisors to ensure efficient delivery
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality standards
- Follow permit-to-work systems and site procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial environment
- Ability to read and work from isometric drawings
- Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques and processes
- Experience working with carbon and stainless steel pipework
- Valid trade qualifications or apprenticeship
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g. Nuclear, oil & gas, or similar)
- Previous site-based project experience
- Additional mechanical or fabrication skills
