How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role overview


    The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a key role in building the company’s sales pipeline by identifying and engaging potential customers.


    You’ll research target accounts, reach out to prospective clients, and qualify opportunities for the sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, opening new conversations, and driving commercial growth.


    Working closely with sales and marketing teams, you’ll help create new opportunities and contribute to the company’s overall revenue strategy.


    Key responsibilities

    • Identify and research potential customers and target accounts
    • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate new opportunities
    • Qualify leads and understand customer needs before passing them to the sales team
    • Schedule meetings and product demos for account executives
    • Maintain accurate prospect and pipeline information in the CRM system
    • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and lead generation initiatives
    • Track outreach performance and optimise messaging where needed
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer challenges


    What we’re looking for

    • 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales development, or a similar role
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Confidence in outreach and engaging with new prospects
    • Highly motivated with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
    • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prospects
    • Resilience and a willingness to learn and improve
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
