Terminal Controller - 12 MONTH FTC

8 hr shift pattern dayshift/backshift/nightshift - Mon - Fri
£39,500 rising to £42,000 after probation
Multiple Terminal Controllers are wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidates will be accountable for safe, efficient and effective delivery of work Operations for plant equipment and a variety of different site stakeholders.
This is an initial 12 month FTC opportunity that includes a base salary of £39,000 - £42,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.
Overview of the Terminal Controller role:
- Complete all information for the documentation of the operations including stock records, logs, dispatch and collection records, tank batching records, as required.
- Issue permits to work, when trained and authorised to staff, site personnel and contractors carrying out work at the depot and associated facilities.
- Undertake planned maintenance, installation & testing of plant & relevant equipment
- Ensure the setup of pumping routes for the receiving, delivery and inter-site movement of various hazardous products.
Key skills required for the Terminal Controller role:
- Previous experience of working a variety of shift patterns and happy to work in a high hazardous/upper tier COMAH site.
- Good communication and computer skills to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess a real attention to detail with a good level of education.
