How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Us

We're Unite - The Agency Alternative, a people-first, flexibly built creative force that's tearing up the traditional agency rulebook. No overhead fluff, no bait-and-switch. Just the best creative talent, built around the brief.

Now, we're looking for a Client Partner who knows how to produce events properly - and who's just as good at building the client relationships that make great work happen.

    The Role

You understand events from the inside out. Conferences, roadshows and virtual events - you've produced them, costed them and delivered them. You know the detail that goes into making them work and the people skills required to keep everyone aligned while you do it.

But this isn't just an events role. You'll be a trusted partner to our clients across everything we do - managing briefs, building relationships and overseeing projects that span content, design, video and more. Events are your anchor, but the role is bigger than that.

You'll grow accounts, spot the next opportunity, and turn a well-delivered project into a longer-term relationship. You're not just executing, you're building.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the production and delivery of client conferences, events and live experiences from brief to wrap
    • Build and manage event budgets - detailed, accurate and commercial from day one
    • Source, cost and manage suppliers, venues, AV, production and logistics partners
    • Act as the primary client contact throughout all projects, keeping them informed, confident and onside
    • Build deep, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their world, anticipating their needs and guiding them through ours
    • Select and brief the right freelance talent from our roster for each project
    • Manage concurrent projects across events, content, design and creative production
    • Own quality control end-to-end, nothing goes to a client that isn't right
    • Translate client feedback into clear direction for creative and production teams
    • Track actuals vs. Budget tightly and flag risks early
    • Keep the founders in the loop and occasionally out of the weeds
    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities - a great event is the start of a bigger conversation
    • Shape scopes, write proposals and help convert client conversations into confirmed briefs
    • Protect and grow revenue through exceptional delivery and proactive account management

    Who You Are

    • You've produced conferences and events professionally - you know what it takes and you've done it
    • You're a natural relationship builder - clients trust you, stay with you and come back to you
    • You can build a production schedule and an event budget from scratch without breaking a sweat
    • You're comfortable managing suppliers, creative teams and client stakeholders simultaneously
    • You've got a nose for when something's going off-track and you fix it before anyone else notices
    • You're sharp on detail but never lose sight of the bigger picture
    • You understand clients: what they're actually asking for, what success looks like to them, and how to keep them coming back
    • You're commercially switched on - budget, value, scope and outcomes aren't awkward conversations for you
    • You believe in a better way to work - more agile, more honest and more human than the traditional agency model

    What You'll Get

    • A competitive base salary
    • Full-time remote working, with on-site presence for events and occasional team sessions
    • Real trust and autonomy - no micromanagement
    • A creative brand that's already built, now ready to amplify
    • Access to a top-tier network of creative and production talent
    • A work culture built on transparency, fairness and real people

This is not for you if:

    • You need a production company infrastructure around you to function
    • You've only ever managed events from a purely operational angle
    • You're uncomfortable owning budget conversations directly with clients
    • You think a detailed run-of-show is the hard part

    This is for you if:

    • You produce events that people actually remember
    • You're as comfortable in a pre-production spreadsheet as you are in a client meeting
    • You bring calm to chaos - and you've had plenty of practice
    • You want a role where events are the anchor, but the work is never boring
    • You believe the traditional agency model is done and something better is here

    Final Word

This is a role for someone who knows events inside out and knows that the best client relationships are built on the back of great work, not just great chat.

Produce brilliantly. Build relationships that last. Grow the accounts.

If you believe in the alternative, unite with us.
