Are you a Water Hygiene Engineer looking for a role that offers genuine career progression and the chance to expand your technical skills? My client, a respected leader in environmental compliance services, is seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join their Reading-based team.
This is a regional role, so the successful applicant will need to live within a commutable distance of the Reading area.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out temperature monitoring, outlet flushing, and disinfection works in line with ACOP L8 & HSG 274
*
Performing closed system sampling and analysis
*
Servicing and maintaining closed systems to ensure water quality compliance
*
TMV servicing and replacements
*
Tank inspections and producing condition reports
*
Supporting remedial works as required
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within the water hygiene industry, with hands-on knowledge of closed systems. An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing is highly desirable, along with the ability to work independently, keep accurate records and communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements:

Previous experience in water hygiene engineering
*
Proven closed system sampling and servicing experience
*
Knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274
*
NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (or equivalent) preferred
*
Strong communication and record-keeping skills
*
Full UK driving licence
