Previous Grocery delivery experience preferredA leading food delivery company is seeking experienced van drivers to deliver groceries to customers on behalf of a high end supermarket chain. The depot is located in Greenford, West London. Three minutes from Greenford Tube Station on the Central Line.
The Role
Delivering online grocery orders direct to customers homes. This includes responsibility for the accurate management of paperwork and any items returned by customers.
Providing excellent customer service.Other responsibilities include.
Completing accurate vehicle safety checks
Managing customer questions and any complaints in a professional manner
Manual handling will be involved including the handling and transportation of alcoholic drinks and pork meat productsRequirements
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements.
Must have held a UK Drivers License for a minimum of 12 months
The license must enable you to drive a manual vehicles.
You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no major endorsements
You must be a good communicator and understand what great customer service is
An enthusiastic and friendly personality will help you to progress in this role
Previous delivery van driver experience is desirable but not essential for the role.
You must be willing to handle alcohol and meat products
For this role you must be available every Monday and Friday including weekend availability.The Pay and benefits
