Future Build Recruitment is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join a well-established, medium-sized fire protection specialist as part of its expanding team in the Northwest. The business delivers the design, installation, and maintenance of a wide range of fire suppression systems, including sprinkler systems, gaseous fire suppression systems, and water mist solutions. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work remotely alongside occasional office time and site visits. You will balance focused design work with practical involvement in real projects working closely with delivery teams, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Design fire sprinkler systems for a variety of commercial projects
* Produce detailed drawings, layouts, and documentation in line with relevant standards and requirements
* Work closely with internal delivery teams, contractors, and clients to support project delivery
* Assist in progressing projects from initial concept through to installation and completion
* Attend site visits when required to support design development, coordination, and problem-solving
* Ensure all designs are accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose

* Proven experience designing fire sprinkler systems (commercial projects preferred)
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and technical requirements
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (remote design work with occasional office/site attendance)
