In this role, you will be responsible for distributing products promptly to our valued customers while representing our company in a professional manner to enhance customer satisfaction. Prior experience as a Delivery Driver is essential. The role will also involve a small proportion of general warehouse work.
Van Driver / Warehouse Operative - Key responsibilities include:
* Your key tasks will include delivering a variety of items safely and efficiently, managing inventory controls, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining a clean workspace.
* A flexible and can-do attitude is essential, as customer service is at the heart of what we do.
Van Driver / Warehouse Operative - skills and experience:
* A valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 24 months, with no more than 3 points.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Proven experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with modern practices.
* The capability to lift and move heavy products, as well as operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Van Driver / Warehouse Operative - Benefits/Shifts/Info
* Flexible start, finish but generally 7.30-4.30 Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
* Due to our insurance restriction on our delivery vehicles we cannot accept any one under 25
* Salary is £12.96 per hour (£26,956 p/annum)
* Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
