We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well‑regarded secondary school in Barnet to appoint a Science Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science specialist to join a supportive department with a strong commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning. The role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher looking for a long‑term position in a well‑resourced school.
The Role:
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on specialism)
Planning and delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons
Assessing, tracking and supporting student progress
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school and department
The School Is Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or on track to achieve it)
A Science specialist (Biology, Chemistry or Physics all welcome)
Strong classroom management and a genuine enthusiasm for Science
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
