How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    NEW ELECTRONICS TEST ENGINEER (RF) BASED IN ANDOVER.

    Our client are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer (RF) to join our PCBA Engineering team. You will play a key role in testing and fault-finding across a wide range of RF-based PCBs, ensuring customer requirements are met with precision and quality. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, you will help drive improvements, support NPI activity, and contribute to our commitment to continuous innovation.

    Responsibilities as a Electronics Test Engineer (RF) in Andover.

    * Perform functional testing of PCBs (primarily RF designs) to customer specifications using customer-supplied test equipment.

    * Fault-find to component level on PCBs and determine effective corrective and preventive actions.

    * Diagnose and repair test equipment-related issues.

    * Support NPI activities, including test strategy development, verification of customer-supplied test equipment, and review/design of test fixtures.

    * Create fault logs, analyse failure modes, and contribute to yield analysis and process improvement.

    Requirements as a Electronics Test Engineer (RF) in Andover.

    * HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (minimum).

    * Hands-on experience testing and evaluating RF or broadcasting electronic assemblies and equipment.

    * Strong background in electronics hardware with the ability to fault-find to component level.

    * Able to provide technical support to both customers and internal teams.
