Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking a stable Monday–Friday role with strong benefits and clear opportunities for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across the site
* Maintain and repair mechanical plant including pumps, motors, boilers, and chillers
* Service and maintain calorifiers and heating systems
* Work on fan coil units (FCUs) and associated HVAC systems
* Support legionella control processes and ensure compliance
* Operate and maintain plant room equipment efficiently and safely
* Identify faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
* Ensure all work is completed in line with current health & safety regulations
Requirements:
* Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment
* Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems
* Experience working within plant rooms
* Understanding of legionella control procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
