This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader to drive excellence across a successful Humanities department.
The Role
As Head of Geography, you will:
Lead and develop a dynamic Geography department
Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3–5
Inspire a love of learning and curiosity about the world
Monitor progress and raise attainment across all ability levels
Support and mentor staff within the department
Contribute to whole-school improvement strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level
Strong leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role
A track record of improving student outcomes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A passion for Geography and innovative teaching
