Electrical Supervisor

Electrical Supervisor – BESS Project | Birmingham

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile renewable energy project, supporting the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise all electrical installation works on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification

* Oversee subcontractors and electrical trades teams

* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, site procedures, and quality standards

* Coordinate daily activities with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and other trades

* Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS briefings, and site inspections

* Review drawings, technical documentation, and installation schedules

* Support commissioning activities and fault finding where required

* Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and permit systems

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on industrial, energy, utilities, or BESS projects

* Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and cable installation

* SSSTS / SMSTS preferred

* ECS / JIB Gold Card desirable

* 18th Edition advantageous

* First Aid at Work preferred

* Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
