We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing civils and groundworks contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their team based in Leicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of work across residential and commercial developments.
The Role
As Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business by preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of civils and groundworks packages.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations
* Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders
* Supporting the pre-construction team in securing new projects
* Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
About You
We are looking for a commercially aware and detail-driven individual with a strong background in civils and groundworks estimating.
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within civils and groundworks
* Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial developments
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* A proactive and organised approach to workload management
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
Location
This role is based in Leicester, with projects primarily across the Midlands region.
