Location: Rural site between Pocklington and Driffield (own transport essential)
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £508 per week
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hands‑on Operative to join our small, family‑run food production business. This is a varied, practical role supporting the manufacture of high‑quality, farm‑style food products in a friendly and close‑knit environment.
You'll be involved in the full production process - from preparing and handling products, through to packing orders, despatch, and stock management - playing an important part in ensuring our customers receive products to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
This role will include, but is not limited to:
Supporting the day‑to‑day manufacturing process of farm‑style food products
Preparing ingredients and assisting with food production activities
Packing products accurately to customer orders
Labelling, checking, and preparing goods for despatch
Loading and unloading deliveries where required
Storing products correctly and helping to maintain organised stock areas
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety requirements
Following all health & safety and food safety procedures
Supporting general production and warehouse tasks as needed in a small team
What We're Looking For
A dependable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude
Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or packing is desirable but not essential
A willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Ability to work well as part of a small team
Own transport essential due to the rural location
