How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher seeking a permanent role in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Ealing? This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher passionate about delivering high-quality education across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

    This school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher (KS1 or KS2) to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.

    Working Pattern: Full Time - 5 days per week (27.5 hours)

    Pay Scale: Inner London M1 (£40,317) - M6 (£52,300)

    The Role

    As a Class Teacher, you will:

    Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
    Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
    Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress, and attainment
    Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively
    Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
    Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

    The role is suitable for teachers with strengths in KS1 or KS2, and year-group placement will be discussed based on experience and preference.

    What We're Looking For

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
